Reproducible example
One-day refrigerator, network and laptop plan
These are example inputs, not typical-device claims. They exist so the implementation can be checked independently.
Inputs
| Load | Running/startup | Use | Priority |
|---|---|---|---|
| Refrigerator | 120 / 600 W | 24 h at 35% | Essential |
| Wi-Fi router | 15 / 15 W | 24 h at 100% | Essential |
| Two laptops | 65 / 65 W each | 5 h at 100% | Optional |
Battery assumptions: 1 day, 90% usable, 85% output efficiency and 20% reserve. Candidate station: 2,000 Wh, 1,500 W continuous and 3,000 W surge. Solar assumptions: 400 W, 4 peak-sun hours and 75% total efficiency.
Independent arithmetic
- Refrigerator:
120 × 1 × 24 × 0.35 = 1,008 Wh/day. - Router:
15 × 1 × 24 = 360 Wh/day. - Laptops:
65 × 2 × 5 = 650 Wh/day. - All loads:
2,018 Wh/day; essential only:1,368 Wh/day. - Running power:
120 + 15 + 130 = 265 W. - Startup estimate:
265 + (600 − 120) = 745 W. - Solar estimate:
400 × 4 × 0.75 = 1,200 Wh/day.
The default 2,000 Wh station has 2,000 × 0.90 × 0.85 = 1,530 Wh estimated output energy. It therefore misses the full-load one-day target with reserve, while the reduced plan is materially closer. Open the tool to inspect the exact unrounded targets and status checks.
